Profligate Parliament
Good news for Wolves fans this morning - and a good move by the club - to freeze 'Early Bird' season ticket prices for the fourth successive year.
Basically it means season ticket holders, and Wolves have nearly 18,000 of them, can buy their tickets for the same price as they did this time last year, and the year before that, and the year before that, if they stump up the cash before the March 14 deadline.
One interesting titbit from the press release mind you.
It appears several members of the Wolves Fans Parliament, the body set up to put across a cross-section of fans' views, were actually more than happy to pay more for their tickets next season - I beg you pardon!
Punters actually agreeing to splash out more money for something? In these cash-strapped times? Is that really representative of the view among the 18,000 season ticket holders? Methinks not.
With views from the backbenches like that, I bet Gordon Brown would love to be in charge of the Wolves' Fans Parliament than the real thing.

Aye, Gordon Brown. Just how did he miss that chance in the cup final for Brighton against Man U.
