Robbo wandering off? Don't be so sure of that
You might have noticed the stories linking Paul Robinson with a move away from The Hawthorns because he allegedly has 'snubbed a contract offer'.
No he hasn't. Talks, in fact, are still on-going.
One newspaper has even linked him with a move to Bolton.
Robbo knows nothing about these stories. And, I'm told, the leak hasn't come from anyone else close to him. Nor has it come from anyone else connected to Albion.
All of which makes you wonder where these stories came from...

It really is a terrible time of year for 'he said she said'. I think the simple rule of thumb with the Albion is that if there is a rumour in the press then it isn't true. Chris your articles are to be commended for dispelling rumours.
Having said that how are your contract negotiations coming along Chris? Has Tomo given any indication of which position he sees you filling?
Also for the rumour mill a 34 year old 6 foot tall retired striker from New Zealand has made himself available to West Bromwich Albion and is awaiting contract details. He expects to sign the contract upon receipt ;)

I think it's fair to say Tony Mowbray wants to cover all positions as far as possible. A new keeper, defenders, midfielders and one, maybe two, new strikers.
He acknowledges there is still a lot of work to be done.
