Albion's complete signing from Blues

Albion's first signing of the summer is complete.

Fitness coach Dan Harris has left Blues and crossed over to Albion.

The 28-year-old comes with a strong pedigree and, I'm told, will be missed over at Blues training ground Wast Hills, where he was extremely highly-regarded by Alex McLeish.

Naturally though, everyone is more concerned about players coming in.

There is plenty going on behind the scenes regarding possible targets, all of which you'll be able to keep tabs on in the Birmingham Mail over the coming days and weeks...

Before new players start arriving Albion need to sort out whether Zoltan Gera, Kevin Phillips and Martin Albrechtsen are staying or going - those will ultimately decide whether a new midfielder and striker are needed (with all respect I can't imagine Albrechtsen being more than a fringe player next year).

You may find 'sexier' rumours and speculation elsewhere but I'll try and deal with fact.

In the meantime we'll have our end-of-season review in tomorrow's Mail, featuring a player-by-player guide, a look back on the title-winning campaign and how Albion can survive in the top flight.
