There is too much swelling around Filipe Teixeira's knee at the moment to establish the full extent of his problem.

He'll need another scan on Thursday before he knows more.

1, 4, 10, 11, 20, 41

Not so much this Saturday's lottery numbers, but the positions taken by Albion players in FourFourTwo's list of best Football League players.

Kevin Phillips was top, with Jonathan Greening fourth, just behind Andy Gray and Michael Kightly.

Zoltan Gera and Robert Koren were 10th and 11th respectively, while Paul Robinson sneaked in at No.20. Filipe Teixeira - who was on crutches at the training ground this morning, ahead of the scan on his knee - completing Albion's half a dozen at 41.

*I've resisted the urge to make any comments or jokes about John Hartson's potential managerial appointment at East Stirling. After all, you wouldn't expect Hartson to take over as fitness coach would you?

But, let's say, you're the manager of a team in a higher division and East Stirling wished to take one of your players on loan.

Would you allow your player to be 'managed' by someone who recently claimed that he had no desire to play for the last club he was registered with (despite earning close to £1million a year) and brazenly admits that he 'can't have a burger without putting on half a stone'?

No, I didn't think you would.

Sleep, Jeff and the boys on Sky Sports, sleep, Albion World, sleep, more sleep.

This is what a chest infection and raging temperature does to a man.
