That was quick Brian!

What's happened to Maddy and Botha?

Hi Flanders. Maddy left out again. Botha injured as detailed, hopefully, in a post above though this computer is so rubbish that I can often not tell for ages whether comments or posts have been registered.

Think Maddy was unlucky to be left out, and Westwood is living a charmed life at the moment in the team.

Brian, you can rest assured your team news/injury update post was displayed!

That is very bad news re Botha though I don't know much about Paul Best. What do you think will happen with the overseas player situation? My understanding is that Yousuf is only with us for the short term and that Younis Khan is highly unlikely to play for the Bears. Do you think they'll try to extend Yousuf's stay if he does well or possibly try to sign an overseas spinner? The latter must be worth consideration bearing in mind the success of the Imran Tahir, particularly in the twin spin attack in one day cricket?

Hi Flanders. I think it's safe to say Younis Khan won't be honouring us with his presence. Yousuf has other commitments later in the summer but anyway if the batting unit carries on as it has started there must be a case for bringing in a spinner, especially with Botha now injured.
I think Collins Obuya will be available.

I believe Collins Obuya, in the recent World Cup scored 90 odd not out against the Aussies, oh and dismissed Ricky Ponting! Amazing!
