The ECB simply MUST clamp down on this outrage.
A wonderful day for Warwickshire was taken in good spirit by the home supporters (in my experience, Taunton, along with Chester-le-Street, has the most friendly and knowledgeable crowds around) with one exception. When I returned to the car park I found that my car had been attacked by a hit-squad of partisan local seagulls which had deposited the equivalent of 12 pail-loads of detritus down the drivers-side and across the roof and bonnet.
I don't doubt that these birds are connected in some way to the foul, stinking, evil, feathered rats which have dumped equally spectacularly on my vehicle in assorted venues including from Hove to Scarborough in recent years. But it's time the ECB took some responsibility and clamped down on this sort of thing.
By the way, ladies and gentlemen, can I just apologise if, on occasions, I fail to respond to comments which you take the trouble to leave (all are very welcome and appreciated). Sometimes, especially towards the weekend when copy for the Sunday Mercury has to be filed, life can get a bit hectic!

Quite right. They should make all county cricket grounds no-fly-zones.
