Botha 64, 109 balls, 11 fours. There are been some fine batting in this innings but none better than Rankin's in his fluent unbeaten 5.

Warwickshire's sixth-biggest total and their biggest since 1996. More runs than they managed in total in both games against Somerset last season.

Woakes launched the innings with a Harmison-type four wides through the slips.

Need to knock a couple over early. Both Miller and Woakes to have got stronger over winter.
