Not an entirely poor day at the office
CLOSE: Somerset 147 for 6 (33 overs). Trego 10, Hussain 0.
Kieswetter, on 10, was dropped by Botha in the slips off Woakes so Woakes bowled the same rather impressive type of delivery again straight away and Kieswetter edged again and Clarke held the catch.
Somerset need another 346 to avoid the follow-on.
Blimey.

It was a great day But very cold last hour or two. Came back for a warm
Great to see the blog back-so useful and entertaining.
This all looks too good to be true-not a bad start for Jim as captain,as you say.
Did conditions change in our favour at all or were we just good at turning the screw?
Hi Ian. Conditions have not changed at all - there was the same help for the bowlers yesterday but Warwickshire have just been far superior in all departments so far.
In terms of Jim's captaincy, I understand he was very impressive in Barbados in terms of getting the players together and building the team ethic. He juggled his bowlers astutely today and certainly the Bears were buzzing in the field.
