These two batsmen are playing very positively, taking runs wherever available and running well.

They have just been helped by a chaotic over by Mendis who, plagued by no-balls, is having a bit of a nightmare debut. Maddy heaved a waist-high full toss for four to reach 50 (68 balls). Two balls later a horrible long-hop was lifted for six by Chopra. Then Chopra drove and Kirby, at mid-off dived over the sphere and it sped away to the boundary, discomforting a pied wagtail along the way.
