Miller survives 11 balls but is bowled for 1 by the 12th, from Brathwaite. That was 349 for nine but Rankin survived long enough to allow Woakes to acquire the single which posted another batting point. Woakes is again batting beautifully.
The world has, I think, left me far behind. This 'twitter' malarkey seems to have taken off to a degree by which most occupants of press-boxes are now involved in twittership and around 20 per cent are obsessed by it. A lot of people have urged me to join 'twitter' so I asked a boffin at the office whether this blog could be put in said domain.
His reply: "It is on Twitter of a sort, as a Mail twitter account picks up the Twitterfeed through RSS and activates automatic tweets."
