Eighteen persons

By Brian Halford on Apr 16, 11 10:08 AM

Good morning ladies and gentlemen.

It is a lovely morning at Taunton. The sun is shining and it promises to be the warmest day of the match so far.

Eighteen persons in Warwickshire CCC clothing are out on the field, indulging in various callisthenics. They include, if my eyes do not deceive me, Mohammad Yousuf.

Mind you, my eyesight's getting worse. The other day I went in and "excuse me, I think I need an eye-test,". The bloke said: "You do sir, this is a shoe shop, the optician's is next door."

Morning Brian

We sat stands and have been posed a question by a local. Can we name the 38 players who have played an ODI for England but not a Test. We have 35, any thoughts?

Nice heave my Mendis for six

Hi Brian

Great news this morning. Just dusting off my previous 'Cricket' bookmarks for the new season. Prior to deleting your blog address I tried refreshing ( just in case ) - hey presto , you'r back in business ?!

By coincidence, I too went to the opticians this morning for an eye test. Guess who I bumped into ?

......everyone.

Keep it going you Bears - brilliant stuff so far.

Hi Beatie. Hope you didn't over-indulge too much on the doughnuts. They gave me a line for the Mercury anyway!

Hi G.W., nice to hear from you again. I've had a lot of trouble with my eyes lately. I said to Mary the other day, "I keep seeing spots in front of me eyes." "Have you seen an optician?" she asked. "No," I said. "Only spots".

Keep up to date
