Good morning ladies and gentlemen. The sun is out over Chester-le-Street but it is a chilly, breezy morning, perhaps not the most bowler-friendly atmosphere but the pitch did a bit throughout the first day.

Another small crowd. Not quite sure why because the crowds for this fixture in recent years have been excellent. Perhaps it's because it's April.
