Worcestershire 132 for 2 (30 overs). Solanki 7. Ali 9.
Botha stoops at first slip to take a low catch off Clarke and oust Mitchell for 43.
Clarke and Rankin have tightened things up a bit and the scoring rate has slowed (as I type Rankin sends down a dreadful leg-side ball that goes for four byes - the mockers again!).
Still Worcestershire's day by a mile so far but another two wickets would even things up a bit. Warwickshire will have taken note that Worcestershire choked in their second innings against Yorkshire last week.
Solanki, on 7, dropped by Botha at first slip, a fairly straightforward chance, off Rankin. That would have been a big blow.

Yes Brian a bit of a contrast from the somerset game. I think because we posted a small total the bowlers tried too hard to get wickets. If they had just put the ball in the right place they might of had more success. Hopefully they will come back strongly tomorrow.
I hope Woakes's wrist is ok because hes our main bowling threat and he did say that it was fine. So hopefully it was mire a case of trying too hard and he will come back tomorrow made some inroads into their batting.
Frustrating day in all but hats off to Worcester who made the most of winning the toss.
The wicket may do a bit again in morning or at least we can hope.
Botha dropped an easy catch at Taunton aswell. I thought Johnson was very unconvincing with the gloves again.
A quality morning session and we would be still in this.
Did speak to Chris before the innings and the wrist was well strapped and didn't think in would inconvience him much. Great interview on Switch Hit Podcast.
