No mucking about now, I expect a season long, constant supply of cricket updates accompanied by pithy comments on the state of play.
Interspersed by occasional oddball bloggerisms on a vast number of subjects ranging from distant cricket events through all things ornithological, taking in unusual architectural achievements plus the random quiz.
No sneaking off to football at Walsall on Saturdays, no long lunch breaks or disappearing for coffee and cakes on the boundary edge! Definitely no pathetic excuses like overwork or broken arms.
Oh, and particularly no nasty comments about seagulls.
