Yorkshire 91 for 1 (24 overs). Lyth 54, McGrath 36.
Carter and Rankin bowled well up front and deserved more than one wicket between them but a bit of spice has now gone out of both the pitch and the bowling.
Piolet's first bowl in championship cricket was brief - 2-0-12-0 - but he has now come on at other end in place of Clarke who delivered the usual mixed bag. Clarle was unlucky not to get Lyth on 42 when a miscued pull lobbed up just short of Imran who was back on his heels at mid-off.
Imran Tahir is bowling, a little earlier in the match than ideal.
One or two keeping low but it looks a good batting track.
