Piolet presses his trousers. Not trousers - case.
After Keith Barker pressed his case for a call-up to the championship team with 170 earlier in the match, today it was Stef Piolet's turn to make his claim with a sensational spell of bowling to set Warwickshire up for a thrilling win in the Second XI Championship against Yorkshire at York.
After conceding a first-innings lead of 104 the home side appeared to be comfortably saving the game at 223 for five only for Piolet to take five wickets for no runs in 14 balls.
Yorkshire were all out for 225, leaving Warwickshire a target of 122 in 17 overs. The Bears made 126 for four from 16.5: Jake Fawcett 47.
Possible 11 for the championship game against Yorkshire at Headingley starting on Monday: Westwood, Amiss, Eakin, Troughton, Javid, Piolet, Barker, Carter, Giles, Imran Tahir, Halford.
Note, at the end there, a three-pronged spin attack to inject terror into any batting unit.

At least Barker and Piolet would be hungry. Get them in. And Johnson.
Shall I ask Alan to bring his whites?
After the performances by Barker and Piolet surely Giles and co can't come up with the excuse that no-one is performing in the seconds. Surely Ord is worth a go as well?
I have to say that I think a change of captain might be needed.
My lads will be gutted you have left them out having informing them they need to report to Yorkshire on Monday.
They will be stronger for it.
Brian,
This looks to be our strongest XI right now, with the possible exception of Povey for Westwood at the top of the order. If he is short of playing equipment e.g. a box, he could use the 2011 Membership booklet as protection against the opening bowlers ?!
