Morning brian. Two captaincy issues I can't understand from down in Surrey. One - why is Clarke batting as low as 7 when if he comes off he'll run out of partners? Two - in view of his past limited overs record why don'y we trust Botha's bowling more?
Cheers, Bob from Surrey
Morning Bob - I think there was a good case for putting Clarke higher up the order last season when he was batting very well. This season his form has made it harder to justify, though he played well at Chester-le-Street last week.
I think Botha's bowling is under-rated and under-used.
