Oh dear Brian, with such a weakened side I predict an easy win for Durham. That said, there's a chance our bowling attack could cause damage against their batsmen (an ill thought out judgment by me based entirely on the bonus points stats thus far).
I think their bowlers will go through The Bears top order like a shipment of garlic eclairs (they can cause the top echelons to suffer horrendous uprisings from the bottom).
Morning The Flanders Pigeon. One would have to say that one would be somewhat reckless to stake one's mortgage on Warwickshire winning this particular contest.
Well quite!
I went to the T20 Derby game on Friday night which was the first time I've visited Edgie since the redevlopment work began. My friends and I were all in agreement that the building site currently looks better than the previous ramshackle collection of ageing structures and shacks. Forgive the whimsy but from where we were sitting we could see trees, buses passing by.... life.
Absolutely, it's a pleasure to see those trees from the press box. Shame that can't build these exciting new pavilion structures low!
