Durham 288 all out. Rushworth (26, 25 balls) skied Carter (the pick of the bowlers) and Ambrose (who kept excellently all day) took a fine catch. Miller then rounded off one of his less impressive days by bowling Claydon for 18.

The plan yesterday was for Botha to open the batting but that evidently changed.
