Brown strikes 11 fours

The Bears climbed to second place in the Second XI Championship after beating Derbyshire by two wickets at Dunstall.

Chasing a target of 157 in 53 overs they were 41 for six before Paul Best (15) and Tom Allin (31) stopped the rot. Dougie Brown (he's got first-team potential that fella) then hit 56 not out from 55 balls with 11 fours to see his side home with stout support from Phil Neale (eight not out).
