Jim Troughton's 66 today was the 36th innings past 50 by a Warwickshire player in Twenty20 - yet on none of those occasions as the half-centurion gone on to become a centurion.
It's high time a Bear did. Or, if not reach 100, at least make it into the nineties. The highest T20 score for Warwickshire so far is 89 by Nick Knight (against Worcestershire at New Road, 2003).
With a smaller boundary at the Building Site End this season and invariably a short boundary on one side or t'other too, a century beckons for a Warwickshire player, I feel.
