Wishing Tim well
Tim Ambrose will not play for the Bears 2nds against Leicestershire at Coventry this week having been given a few days off cricket by the club to collect his thoughts after a form and confidence-draining start to the season.
This is a tough time for Tim and let's hope this likeable man and talented cricketer comes through it quickly and goes on to do justice to his talent - ideally at Warwickshire, if not, elsewhere.

Indeed, professional sportsmen need to remember how very fortunate they are to be able to play sport for a living. But, on the other hand there aren't many jobs that are so open to public scrutiny, or where such extremes of praise or derision are heaped upon the participants.
