on the plus side, for the Bears fans booked in for the week, if the game is over within 2 days, there are worse places to find yourself with some spare time to kill.
On the disastrous last Ashes tour, I was at Melbourne and, because it finished in 3 days, we had time to have a day sightseeing before the flight to Sydney, which we wouldn't have had otherwise.
I remember when Warwickshire lost to Surrey at the Oval in two days in 1911 myself and Marmaduke spent the third day in some very nice boutiques in the Covent Garden area.
Has anyone ever watched a Warwickshire Youth game the only thing you ever see is
Gary Steer eating cakes rather than coaching the kids.
