Shag's Wall

By Brian Halford on May 5, 10 03:50 PM

Tea: Kent 267 for 5 (79 overs). Northeast 16, Stevens 10.

Van Jaarsveld, on 47, leaned forward to one from Imran that turned slightly and Trott, showing the reaction-speed of a hummingbird, took an excellent catch off bat and pad at short leg.

Kent can afford to take their time here.

Behind the Leslie Ames Stand is a brick wall, by the ice-cream van, with a sign "Shag's Wall". I wonder what on earth that's all about?

Keep up to date
