Pushing their cases
Richard Johnson warmed up for his championship debut against Durham with some runs today. At the close of the second day against Lancashire at Blackpool he was 59 not out in Warwickshire 2nd XI's second innings 107 for three.
Other players also enhanced their case for elevation to the 1sts. Naqaash Tahir took three for 51 and Keith Barker three for 48 in Lancashire's 236 all out. Earlier on, Barker ended the Bears' first innings unbeaten on 110 after last man Dougie Brown was out for 26.
Going into today's final day:
Warwickshire 355, Lancashire 236, Warwickshire 107 for three.
