There was an element of irony

By Brian Halford on May 31, 10 12:44 PM

Warwickshire 100 all out (34 overs). Barker 0 not out.

Woakes, on 5, edged a good one from Plunkett to the wicket-keeper.

Botha, on 20, fended Plunkett to short-leg and Imran had his off-peg knocked out second ball by the paceman.

There was an element of irony to the cheering and applause which greeted Warwickshire's posting of their 100th run.

I think this officially constitutes a "rut" now for the Bears batsmen...

Hi Brian, well, somehow or other you've got to report this continuing debacle, and yet no doubt try to remain on speaking terms with the coaching staff and players. Good luck mate!

has there ever been a more 'out of form' side in the history of domestic cricket???

Bozza - It can be a tricky line to tread! Though I have to say cricketers, on the whole, have a far more realistic view on such situations than footballers.

Andy - one doesn't spring to mind. But hold on...there could be a mass turning of the corner this afternoon and tomorrow!
