Croft lifted Rankin for six and out of the attack to be replaced by Carter who rounded off the innings by dismissing Kerrigan, caught by Ambrose for 6.
The total is about par for the conditions, according the person sitting to my right.
Michael Carberry has withdrawn from the England Lions squad with a bruised foot. If he is still injured next Saturday it won't harm Warwickshire's chance of beating Hampshire in the Clydesdale 40.
