Yorkshire to bowl
Good season ladies and gentleman. It is bright and warm at Edgbaston and the 2010 season will begin on time.
Yorkshire have won the toss and chosen to bowl on a pitch tinged with green.
Warwickshire: Westwood, Chopra, Bell, Trott, Troughton, Ambrose, Woakes, Carter, N.Tahir, I.Tahir, Miller
Clarke has been left out as he is troubled by a stomach-muscle injury so unable to bowl.

Is there a cricinfo chap/chappess in the press box with you Brian?
It seems that they don't have anyone at Edgbaston or Sophia Gardens today as no scorecards or team news is forthcoming from their website, or the BBC.
You seem to be ploughing a lone furrow in actual news of the game.
Thankfully the BBC have several indepth blogs on the thoughts of non-league football players, so I'll have to make do with that in the absence of any cricket news.

Morning Raggy. Cricinfo gets its info straight from the scorers who, like everybody else (with the sole exception of the press!) have moved for this season so maybe there was an early glitch. I think it's up and running now.
