Steven or Stephen?

By Brian Halford on Apr 15, 10 03:49 PM

Tea: Lancashire 194 for 6 (64 overs). Sutton 21, Chapple 12.

Chapple has compiled a scrappy 21, the scrappiest innings for Lancashire in this fixture since Harry Pilling's 9 in 1972. How he wasn't lbw to Imran Tahir three or four times only Tim Robinson knows.

He's stuck in there, though, and, with Chapple, prevented a pre-tea collapse which would have put the Bears back in command.

Even Steven.

Or should that be even Stephen.

Hmmmmm - wheres that killer touch. 14 - 4 seems a long time ago...... Any sign of that volcanic dust upthere?

Yes Warley we've been talking in the radio box about that killer touch/lack of. I suppose when you start by reducing the opposition to 14 for 4 things are bound to tail off a bit but with only four specialist bowlers you can't afford for one of them to be off the boil, as Naqaash has been.
Trott's just come on for the 70th over.
