Lancashire fighting back
Lunch: Lancashire 83 for 4 (31 overs). Prince 31, Croft 41.
A good recovery from 14 for 4 by Prince and Croft. Three overs from Imran Tahir just before lunch were watchfully played. Naqaash has had a disappointing morning, failing to maintain the pressure imposed by Woakes and Carter, not least in the last over before lunch which went for 13 including eight for Croft as he dispatched two short balls.
Warwickshire still just on top but haven't shown the ruthlessness for which Ashley Giles called after the Yorkshire match.
Flags fluttering wildly in the cold wind.

Do we think that, maybe, the ball is doing less as the volcanic ash moves away from Manchester ? Or was it just getting in the batsmens' eyes earlier on ?
Never mind volcanic ash - Ash will be volcanic if his team doesn't get a grip again soon.
Do you see what I've done there?
Hi Brian,
Good afternoon from Headingley where Somerset are struggling against the Yorkies.
Following your advice I have decided to get into this blogging lark and am quite enjoying it.
Thanks

Hi Nathan. Good to hear from you. The Pennines are looking groovy from this direction. How about from yours?
