Botha's loss adds to the bother

By Brian Halford on Apr 28, 10 12:23 PM

Warwickshire 100 for 7 (31 overs). Ambrose 21, Woakes 1.

Ambrose and Botha added 30 in eight overs before Botha, on 13, wafted outside off-stump and edged Tomlinson to the wicket-keeper.

Tim Ambrose deeply dislikes dead matches when there is no pressure. This could be just the situation for him then. Warwickshire are in dire need.

Not all bad news though. The building work appears to be advancing nicely, judging by the racket.

Id love to see Tim get some runs, sort himself out and stay with us. Terrific cricketer. This batting line up is developing jelly like qualities isnt it?

Lucky we played the extra spinner instead of NAQ as well.

Hi Kim. Great batting line-up on paper isn't it? Just as in the second innings at Old Trafford, Bell and Clarke got out to very rash shots today.
I agree with you about Ambrose. I've always sort of regarded him as the Geoff Pike of cricket.
