Carter finally clipped Anderson's off-stump to dismiss him for 10. He bowled superbly this morning. A flurry of fours from Croft have supplied Lancashire's first pleasure of the day and Imran Tahir has just come on, the first bowling channge of the day after 83 minutes.

Much depends on what the change bowlers, Tahirs I and N, can do.
