Daniel Hayes and Dean Hoffman
From the Tipperary Vindicator, 1846.
"A coroner's inquest was held on the lands of Redwood in the parish of Lorha yesterday the 24th (October) on the body of Daniel Hayes, who for several days subsisted on the refuse of vegetables and went out on Friday morning in a quest of something in the shape of food, but he had not gone far when he was obliged to lie down, and, melancholy to relate, was found dead some time afterward."
Aye, 21st century life has it's irritations but, really, we don't know we're born do we?
The year 2010, by the way, brings the 25th anniversary of Dean Hoffman top-scoring with 12 from number 11 for Warwickshire in a championship match against Surrey at The Oval.

I thought Dean Hoffman was brilliant in Tootsie.
My best friend was talking me about Daniel and he told me he's an excellent man because he's so smart too.
