The Seagull of Selection
When England's team is selected for the first Test against South Africa this week, surely Ian Bell, who in England's last Test match played an innings of enormous fortitude and skill to set up their retention of the Ashes, will not be dropped to make way for the laughable Kevin Pietersen whose absence from the side, thereby allowing England to field 11 players all committed to the team and each other, for that decider at The Oval was another significant factor in its success?
