Maddy and Anyon
On May 9 and 10, 2003, at Grace Road, Darren Maddy compiled his first-class career-best score of 229 not out, for Leicestershire against Loughborough UCCE.
The Loughborough attack in that match included Jimmy Anyon who delivered 21-2-104-0.
I think I can safely speak on behalf of everyone gathered here in Trap 3 of the Gents at Hilton Park Service Station when I wish both gentlemen all the very best for 2010; Maddy as he recovers from his serious knee-ligament injury and Anyon as he embarks on a post-Bears career with Sussex.

Brian, I'm taking one element of this post as a sign. I'm making one of my very occasional visits to Hall Green Greyhound Stadium tomorrow evening and had been debating how to decide which trap to back.
After reading the above, I'll be backing Trap 3 !
Go for it Sorrento! I expect a cut of all winnings however. Shall we say 3 per cent?
By the way, I can resoundingly vouch for the comfort of Trap 3 of the Gents at Hilton Park Service Station in which I have resided for the last three weeks since Mary threw me out. It's a bit small and a little noisy at times but very cosy, cleaned regularly and near to the shops. And it has excellent access to the M6.
Best wishes to Jimmy Anyon for a fresh start. Sweaty and Co will keep us informed of progress.
Brian, I put my £2 per race on Trap 3 as promised. I had 3 winners but, predictably, lost £3 on the evening !
Not too bad a result then. Meanwhile, I saw Walsall score three. Makes you wonder if there's some unseen force up there controlling it all.
