Sieve-headedness
CLOSE: Warwickshire 15 for 2 (7 overs). Westwood 11, Bell 2.
Sussex opened winners spinners Chawla and Rayner and the latter trapped Botha lbw for 1 with an arm-ball
Then came one of the most sieve-headed pieces of cricket ever seen on an English field. Ian Westwood chopped the ball to third man and nightwatchman Naqaash Tahir, sent in to see the ship safely through to the close, called for a dodgy third run and was beaten by Martin-Jenkins' throw.
The nightwatchman out in kamikaze fashion for a blob! And he would have even more embarrassed if Chawla's penultimate ball of the day had hit Bell's off-stump rather than turning past it by a whisker.

Well done Botha. An under-valued cricketer in my opinion.
A sieve is a round wire kitchen tool with a lot of small holes, used for separating solid food from liquid or small pieces of food from large pieces.
