Sree spree

By Brian Halford on Aug 27, 09 04:25 PM

Yorkshire 34 for 2 (8 overs). Sayers 16, Gale 14.

Warwickshire have put in a really good day's work so far. From 53 for 4, they reached 320 thanks to a bold and aggressive century by Ambrose, a typically stroke-studded 67 from Carter and useful support by Frost and Clarke.

Yorkshire were then 0 for 2 after five balls. Sreesanth's first ball had Rudolph caught by Troughton at point - a triumph for homework as the batsman was caught there, first ball, in last week's Roses match. Then McGrath edged the fifth ball to Ambrose.

Sreesanth is steaming in and still beating the bat. Tahir tidy at the Pavilion End.

Keep up to date
