Yorkshire were pretty much cruising at 93 for 0 in the 26th over then Clarke changed the whole flow and mood of the contest with a pre-lunch burst of 5-3-5-1.
On Vaughan's last championship appearance here, in 2007, he ended the game in deficit. He scored only 6 (Naqaash Tahir got him with a corker) then bowled 1-0-10-0.
The clouds have thickened up.
