Patel = Hollies

By Brian Halford on May 7, 09 05:50 PM

Close: Warwickshire 81 for 1 (18 overs). Westwood 24, Bell 33.

Frost, on 8, edged into the slips off Kruis in the sixth over.

Bell played the most magnificent straight drive for four off Rashid. Just joyous. Perhaps the most glorious stroke in the history of cricket.

Yorkshire's turn to suffer tomorrow, perhaps.

Patel harvested 1 for 150 on his first champo bowl for the Bears. Just as a certain Mr Hollies did against Sussex at Edgbaston in 1932.

Well Jeetan will do ok if he matches Erics stats.

If Jeetan shapes up to Eric he will be fine. Long way to go though.

Didn't Ashley promise us more bowler friendly wickets this year?
I have to say it's a bit less than compelling when 600 plays (hopefully!) 600.

Enjoyed the last two hours last night.It's a shame catching cost us for the 2nd game on the row. I think we need 160 Pts to stay up which is 10 Pts per game.

Batting bonus points are a must today.

Thought Westwood batted well last night considering how he looked to struggle against Scotland on Sunday.

Bell out already? Not a good sign...
