Ashley Giles, in dark glasses and woolly hat pulled down low, is looking rather sinister today.
I've just spoken to Keith Cook about what is required to acquire a work permit and visa for Jeetan Patel. It is a mind-boggingly tangled process and, with Easter looming, the chances of it unravelling in time for next Wednesday appear remote.

Seems to be Ash's favourite look at the moment..he was wrapped up like that at Leicester. AD was the same. Looked like two secret undercover agents.
Same look here. And there was more evidence of Ash's sinister powers when Richard Johnson, keeping wicket, took one on the knee. Mozzy is away with Ant Botha seeing the specialist so Ash went on to assess the injury and as he soon as he got out there, Johnson, hitherto evidently in great pain, got straight up and carried on.
