Did Warwickshire delay the declaration too long?

Hi, I personally think the declaration was about right although I have no idea why it didn't come straight after Clarke had made his hundred.

I think we needed a couple of wickets by the close. Its going to be a pretty difficult task for us to bowl them out tomorrow. Maybe the weather might alter the conditions.

It was certainly one of the most entertaining days cricket I have seen at Edgbaston for a long time.

Good batting. Timid declaration.

Surprised to see Clarence in there at 19.

Wasn't so bothered about the timing of the declaration.
What did puzzle me was why we didn't go on all out attack, given we can't possibly lose (can we?). Wee bit timid again I think, need a bit of "let's get at 'em" attitude.
If we'd have had 4 slips in we'd likely have taken at least one wicket.
