Fish fingers

Somerset 510 for 4 (126 overs). Hildreth 226, Kieswetter 72.

After 35 minutes of sedate batting, a flurry of boundaries suggests Somerset will try to get perhaps 200 in front and try to put Warwickshire under a bit of pressure this afternoon.

Botha and Anyon have come on for Clarke and Woakes.

Trott has looked particularly cold at slip. But now there's no slip.

Brian, has our bowling attack really been total bobbins, or is it a combination of the wicket and weather conditions?

It feels suspiciously like last year's start to the season, but without the prospect of an international paceman to come in and assist, and against better batsmen!

Not total bobbins, no. Best reserve judgement, I think, until we've seen them bowl at Edgbaston on a less heartbreaking track next week.
