Solid drizzle has set in. Big covers on. Not looking good.
Meanwhile, in Wellington, Jeetan Patel has visited the Home Office and been interrogated, fingerprinted, etc. He had to leave his passport with the authorities and when they return it he will be able to travel to England and bowl spin for the Bears.
His documents could take up to 20 days from yesterday to come through, they reckon.
