The Ashes. No.6.
Australia's visit to Edgbaston for the opening Test of the 1961 Ashes series was a weather-affected draw, played mostly in bitterly cold, damp conditions, but the final evening was groovy as, according to the Birmingham Post: "The hour after tea, when Edgbaston's green was lit by a rare, June sun and Dexter, with England's arrears cleared, hitting Simpson and Mackay tremendously to all parts, was one of the most inspiring sights the ground can ever have seen."
And Bill Bowes watched it all, puffing away serenely at his pipe.
