To be fair to KP, wasnt this an attempt to stop them being motivated instead by the $1 million on offer at the Stanford game?
I'm sure this fine piece of man manangement will work.
I'm not a fan of pietersen but I think he's been put in an invidious position by the ECB on this one.
I've found another thing (the 4,836,287,098,815,459th) that winds me up about Pietersen. He's developed a habit of talking - even when saying quite banal or serious things - while all the time smiling a big empty, pointless smile. Just as Margaret Thatcher used to do.
And the similarities between the two do not end there.
He's also got a funny walk.
