Great Moments of The Ashes. No. 1.
When Ross Edwards, on 79, resumed his innings for Australia on the third day of the second Test against England at Perth in December 1974, he faced the bowling of Geoff Arnold - and began the day with five successive twos.
Will we ever see the like again?

Word is reaching me down in London that a cracking joke involving an action man deserter appeared in the Birmingham Mail last night. Ive not heard it before so can anyone tell me when the corker will be on the Birmingham Mail website - I have a presentation later and may well use it at the start to lighten the mood?
Hi Kim. The line to which I believe you refer was in a comment piece (on the Stanford Tackfest) so I'm not sure where it goes on the website.
I must clarify, though, that it was not, in fact, a "joke" but the painful and true revelation that I came from a poor family - so poor that, one year, Mum and Dad gave me an empty box for Christmas and told me it was an action man deserter.
My clients must be clairvoyant Brian!!!!!
In the presentation, their reaction to the action man "gag" suggested they didnt think it was a joke either.
Perceptive or what???
I can bare it no more just returned from Henley Market, saw a very worn out action man he must be the one I thought,so I rescued him, next time I see you I shall return him to his rightful owner.
I wonder 5 2s ah. I shall keep a watchful eye out to see if this phenomenon ever happens again.
Did n't Dilip Doshi score 5 consecutive twos for Warwicks to win a B & H Cup match against Yorkshire in the final over sometime in the 80's ?
(Sorry but memory won't stretch to exact year).
Well done Sorrento got to keep Brian on his toes
