Two houses on Fleet Street

By Brian Halford on Sep 3, 08 12:37 PM

Lunch: Warwickshire 9 for 1 (7 overs). Westwood 3, Frost 6.

Just what is the point of the "Water Works" and the "Electric Light Company"?

Many thanks Brian, alas a calamitous computer failure somewhere means you are the only reliable means of finding the score on the internet. According to Cricinfo and the BBC website, Warwickshire are 330 for 7 replying to Worcestershire's 279, with Frost 96 not out.

The BBC reports the score as
2-09-2008 at New Road , Day 2 of 4
Lunch
Worcestershire won the toss and decided to bat
Worcestershire 1st Innings
339 all out (96.1 overs)
Warwickshire 1st Innings
330 for 7 (97.1 overs)

Must have been an eventful morning :-o

Warley - maybe this will put an end to all the grumbling about over rates!!

Indeed !

100 overs in a morning and Frost 97 not out ............. I was thrilled. However normal service has now resumed and the Bears are a few runs for a wicket. Perhaps that will be the COP score ? Fun whilst it lasted !!!!!

Thank goodness for Brians blog !

Keep up to date
