Good morning ladies and gentlemen. It is a lovely morning in Worcester with the sun shining brightly and a warm breeze rustling the trees, caressing the plumes of the outfield-pecking pigeons and gently removing my colleague's coffee from the ledge and sending it tumbling down on to a spectator below.

Re. Michael Vaughan, by the way. There's more chance of Warwickshire signing Frankie Vaughan. An absolute non-starter.

He could probably bat in the top 6 at the moment, Frankie Vaughan that is. Not sure if he will displace Frost as the 4th choice spinner though.
I’m sorely tempted to just start making transfer rumours up on my blog and see if I can get a nibble. I hear Shane Warne was spotted in an estate agents in Bromsgrove on Saturday And apparently Shohib Ahktar’s cousin’s father-in-law runs a restaurant in Balsall Heath and I have it on good authority they were seen in the Boundary Mill buying bed sheets for their spare room yesterday evening.
That sort of thing.
