Cardboard box

By Brian Halford on Sep 19, 08 12:22 PM

Warwickshire 379 for 6 (118 overs). Frost 164, Clarke 11.

Frost has posted his career-best His 150 arrived from 339 balls with 19 fours.

Clarke's first championship run for Warwickshire was a single to mid on.

Masters has just tied his right shoelace.

If Essex do not take three wickets in the next 12 overs Worcestershire are promoted.

Maureen has just bought a cardboard box full of food to the press-box. The term 'feeding frenzy' sprang to mind.

Cardboard is under-rated. Imagine where we'd be without it.

Max batting and bowling points soon - how does this leave us in the world of if, buts and maybe's in the promotion race.

In this innings, Frost has reached 4,000 career runs, Troughton 5,000 and Trott 7,000.

It must mean something

16,000 - which was the attendance at the ODI earlier in the season.

But what of promotion formulaes......

Projected table tomorrow night ?

1 Worcestershire 16 196.0
2 Warwickshire 15 183.0
------------------------------------
3 Northamptonshire 15 165.0
4 Essex 15 164.0

Get the party poppers ready ........ we are close. Based on a Bears draw. A win would put us on 193

Worcester just promoted - but their last game played ?

Frost gets a double ton! ZOMFG!

Messrs Giles and Donald have their sights set on not just promotion but the Second Division championship. It would be curious if the Bears finish top after such an uneven season but it's very much on now.

Keep up to date
