Neither one thing nor the other

A rather strange, vague announcement has just informed us that the umpires have had a look and will look again at some point in the afternoon, not sure when, and that there might be some cricket at some point but there might not.

A bit strange. Although not as strange as when I stopped off in Kings Heath this morning to post some letters and popped 'em in the pillar-box only to get about ten yards up the road, look back and see a big, hairy hand come out of the slot in the box and deposit them back on the pavement.
